How To Make The Shark Bite Cocktail

Tasting Notes: Lemonade is the biggest flavor to this cocktail. Citrus, acidity all in a slightly sour cocktail.

There is blood in the water today on Common Man Cocktails. We’re bringing you the shark bite, a cocktail which uses grenadine to get a point across… a bloody point. This would make a great summer drink as it’s definitely a short distance cousin to a lemonade and hides its alcohol well.

 Recipe:

  • 1 1/2 oz. Vodka
  • 1 1/2 oz. Limon Rum
  • 1 oz. Blue Curacao
  • 3 oz. Sour Mix
  • Splash of Grenadine

I think the perfect summer drink is an ice cold pint of hoegaarden. My favourites summer cocktails are gin fizz and the lynchburg lemonade, I just cant stand oversweet drinks on summer.

Yeah Lynchburg lemonade deffinetly works well in the summer but for me the best summer drink would be the Raspberry fizz: Absolut raspberry 40 ml, Chambord 15 ml, Lemon (squeeze, about half of lemon), raspberryes (muddled) and topped up with sprite.
I dont have in the bar that i currently work this ingredient, but instead of Absolut raspberry i`d use some raspberry flavoured rum. Im not verry shure that anyone made this weird fusion, but there are lots of crazy spirits on the market and among them it must be a raspberry flavoured rum.

Yeah, I used to have this drink without the sprite, I’ll give it a try 🙂 Bacardi produces a raspberry rum, but I never seen it at the store.
