Today we’re going to make a little after dinner drink known as the french connection. This mixed drink is simple to make, and is on the IBA list of classic cocktails.

If cognac sipping is a bit much for you and you want to round out the flavor profile a bit, just cut it with sweeter product like disaronno amaretto, why not? It works well, it’s not sticky sweet and the two flavors seem to compliment each other well.

– 1.5 oz Cognac
– 1 oz Amaretto
