How To Make The El Diablo

Tasting Notes: Imagine a margarita with a little extra attitude. A nice zing of ginger along with the sours and tequila flavor that ends with a little tickle of light carbonation.

It is not often enough that we get to bust out the Creme de Cassis for a cocktail and even more rare to utilize it with a tequila. Pick a nice silver tequila (plata/blanco) for this cocktail as the ingredients are not intense enough that it would destroy the natural awesome factor of the tequila itself.

 Recipe:

  • 1 1/2 oz Silver Tequila
  • 3/4 oz. Creme de Cassis
  • 1/2 oz. Lime Juice
  • Top with Ginger Ale
