A margarita that doesn’t have sugar, and uses Grand Marnier as the sweetening agent for this margarita variation. What makes it a “cadillac”? It’s high class use of a top shelf orange liqueur (Grand Marnier) as well as the slightly more rested Reposado Tequila.

In general, one can see this as a more expensive margarita, but in actuality the big deal with the cadillac margarita is the tequila martini like nature of the drink: it’s got no sugar and very few ingredients.

Due to the lack of sugar you may find this one a bit sour, but you’ll probably get used to it. Unless you like sweeter drinks. This will definitely be heavier on the lime, spirit forward but still contains juice.

Dan does not find this as smooth of a ride for a cadillac compared to other margaritas.
