How To Make The Angie Collins

Tasting Notes: An intense bitter bite that lingers for many minutes after sipping. Lots of intense campari-like bitter attack that continues to punch you in the mouth over and over. While the initial flavor is that of angostura bitters it ends with a tongue drying finish.

I used an ounce of Bitter Truth Orange and only a 1/2 ounce of angostura. Went down a lot easier than just straight angostura seemed to for you. Orange bitters on there own are much sweeter (although still fairly potent) but I did like the complexity the angostura brought.

As a disclaimer I am a noted lover of bitters, usually adding 10-15 dashes to my old fashions so I could also be more accustomed to the flavors.

yeah, if you’re a lover of bitter cocktails, in general, you’ll have a lot easier time with this than I do 🙂 I dislike most bitter drinks.
