Tasting Notes: Rich hazelnut, chocolates and a bit of fire. No real spiced rum appeal.
The biggest problem with this cocktail is the lack of spiced rum showing itself in the flavor. I think the proportions may need to get kicked up on the spiced rum side or a spiced rum that’s not Oakheart or standard Captain Morgan may show itself a bit more through the rich creams of Coole Swan.
Recipe:
- 1 oz. Spiced Rum
- 1 oz. Irish Cream
- 1 oz. Frangelico
