We are scotch whisky tasting again, this time we’re focusing on the Islands and primarily talking about and tasting Ardbeg, a single malt scotch–a scotch whisky distillery on the south coast of the isle of Islay, Argyll and Bute, Scotland, in the Inner Hebrides group of islands.
Ardbeg claims to be the most peatiest Islay whisky and from our tasting, it should show truth in that claim.

January 2, 2014 at 12:18 pmHi guys. I love watching your reviews, but in your review of Ardbeg you referred to all four of the scotches as Islay. The only one that is an Islay is the Ardbeg. The other three are Speyside, Highland and Lowland scotch. This is the most basic of scotch facts.I don’t mean to berate you, just bring you up to speed on some basic facts so that your viewers aren’t confused if the choose to try these very different and distinct styles. I would love to share a dram with you guys someday. — dennis
