Nightmares Foggy Morning Cocktail

Tasting Notes: Heavy absinthe flavor, herbal due to the style of absinthe we’ve used; not too much gran marnier flavor.

Nightmares Foggy Morning builds on the basic absinthe and water recipe but adds to that the minor flavor of orange brandy through a little bit of Grand Marnier. The challenge will be to get through the absinthe flavor to find the others. Oh, and this recipe can really screw you up if you are not careful.

    Thank you Derrick and Doug,

I had a lot of fun making this drink the first time and enjoy “Nightmares Foggy Morning” when I am at parties. The Absinthe I use is “Absente”, which is what I had and enjoy greatly. As to the tonic water “quinine” question, I personally liked the taste better then club soda, but really it’s up to the persons palate.

Thank you again and I will add a link to my silly video that I sent you.

Keep up the great work and I look forward to making better recipes and sharing them with you and the world.
