Tasting Notes: A flavorful oak meets sweet coconut tones and pineapple with that added touch of dark rum for the tiki-like explosive effect on your face.

The Martian Sunset, a cocktail with a great presentation and flavorful oak meets mild sweet tones. Could go along side any other tiki drink in your library of tiki cocktails. We added a little extra grenadine to our old fashion glass to give it more “martian” effect. Also, checkout the Mason Shaker if you’re looking to get hip! Recipe:

  • 1 1/2 oz Coconut Rum
  • 1 oz. Anejo Tequila
  • 4 oz. Pineapple Juice
  • Splash of Lime Juice
  • Dash of Grenadine
  • Float 1/4 oz. Meyers Dark Rum

    Tequila añejo is at least 1 year aged in oak barrels of 600 L. and if it’s been aged 3 years it’s considered extra añejo but it cannot be aged more than 4 years in the barrel because the tequila would spoil, after 4 years it must be bottled so it wont spoil. I recommend you to try “Tequila 7 Leguas añejo” it has a really good taste that I believe you would enjoy
