In some ways the cucumber basil lime gimlet plays against the standard gimlet concept (spirit, sugar, citrus ) but pairs cucumber up against basil to bring a sweet yet savory like flavor combination while maintaining a gimlet appeal.
This simple vodka drink gives you access to simple ingredients: vodka along side some veggies and herbs. Heck, you could replace your vodka with gin in the Cucumber Basil Lime Gimlet and get even more herbal flavor appeal. But, for those vodka fans the Cucumber Basil Lime Gimlet allows the herbs and cucumber to shine given the subtle nature of vodka.

– 2 Basil Leaves
– 2 Cucumber Slices (¼” each)
– ¼ oz. / 10ml Lime Juice
– 1 oz. / 30ml Lemonade
– 1 ½ oz. / 50ml Vodka
