We taste test Rutter and Flaughter, two scotch whisky labels that include a stepped approach to peat. Flaughter has a 14.8 PPM while Rutter has a 11 PPM (less peat/smoky flavor), but do the steps make that big a difference? We find out.
You can find these bottles for roughly USD $85 per 750ml bottle. Pronounced “a-nock”, the AnCnoc Scotch is Gaelic for Knock Hill, home to the distillery Knockdhu.
