VeeV: Low Calorie Cocktail Recipes

VeeV It Up

VeeV It Up

I’ve had a lot of requests and searches hitting everydaydrinkers.com for lower calorie cocktails and spirits. Hopefully, I can supply you with a few neat recipes that are classy yet tasty. I received a set of recipes from the VeeV Açaí folks and wanted to pass them on!

Rooftop parties, beach bashes, BBQs in the backyard – this summer is filled with boozy temptations. Stay away from calorie-laden tipplings like Cosmopolitans (251 calories) or Margaritas (338 calories), and imbibe by mixing under 150 calorie treats with the Brazilian super berry acai. The power fruit looks like a blueberry and has 57% more antioxidants than pomegranate.

With VeeV, the world’s first acai spirit, you can up your sophistication level and lower your calories at the same time! Plus you are doing good by drinking smart: $1 per bottle sold is donated back to the Brazilian Rainforest for the safe harvest of acai.

Good stuff. I always use fresh juices, rather than sugary mixers, to save some calories when boozing.
