Tasting Notes: Fernet branca is included but isn’t overbearing in this cocktail as it still holds a good bourbon profile with light herbal notes.
Pick Me Up Cocktail, with a brand new
guest cohost included in the mix (cocktail pun!). This would be our first use of Fernet Branca, which is something I have found most people will not put in their mouths without mixing in a cocktail. Even in a cocktail, Fernet can be a bit over-the-top but in the Pick Me Up Cocktail, it actually works well.

- 2 oz. Hudson Four Grain Bourbon
- 1/2 oz. Fernet Branca
- Dash of Orange Bitters
- Dash of Brandy
