So here we are, Christmas eve and we’re looking for the perfect holiday cocktail. The way I view holiday cocktails is that any cocktail that you want and love makes for a great holiday cocktail. You don’t need a crazy insane cocktail build themed drink, you can just make an easy cocktail recipe such as this one: The santa clausmopolitan because it doesn’t require an excessive crazy ingredient list, it uses off-the-shelf product and it’s a good recipe design.

A standard cosmo uses a dash of cranberry juice for color, but you’re mainly drinking a booze-forward red vodka martini. The Santa Clausmopolitan is designed to be a bit more of a sipper, with a neat sweet sugar rimmed design.

Here is the holiday recipe breakdown:

The Santa Clausmopolitan
– 2 oz vodka
– 3 oz cranberry juice
– 1/2 oz triple sec
– 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
– 1 oz fresh cranberries

Simple shake and strain after making your sugar rimmed glass.
