This cocktail follows up our Hot Ones variation using spicy Siempre Tequila to make a series of spicy margaritas. The paloma is super simple to build out, doesn’t require shaking or straining, you just need to get yourself some Squirt or Grapefruit Pellegrino, a lime and you’re ready to go!

The Paloma
– 2 oz Siempre blanco (or reposado)
– 1/2 oz lime juice, freshly squeezed
– Grapefruit soda, chilled, to top (Squirt / San Pellegrino)
– Garnish: lime wheel
– Garnish: salt rim (optional)
Of course, as usual, the salt is optional but encouraged for those that like the salty rim (insert your own joke). But, the paloma is fast and simple so salt is often left out in favor of speed. Or, get creative and add a bit of orange juice and an orange garnish instead of a lime garnish on your next paloma.
