Hemingway loved his daiquiri and, well, all his cocktails. Hemingway spent a lot of time in Havana Cuba, especially after Prohibition began and people couldn’t get cocktails in the US very easily.

While Hemingway spent his time in Havana at the Floridita, he ordered up a lot of cocktails. Some daiquiri variations have a higher amoutn of rum than your standard daiquiri, as does the Daiquiri #3 — hemingway style. Some say he was a raging alcoholic, but what we do know for sure is he loved his alcohol.

Most of hemingway cocktails tend to be higher on alcohol than others, naturally. You’ll find the Hemingway Daiquiri brings a distracting lovely flavor from the use of Luxardo Maraschino liqueur.

This is like the dorchester cocktail but with rum! You can try the dorchester cocktail as well: https://youtu.be/8G09Jgzc_n8
