We’ve received a lot of interest over the last year or so with hangover prevention “technology.” I believe every person that wakes up with a nasty headache wishes for the “cure” to their problem. Often, however, people think too late and don’t try to recover the problem prior to waking up the next morning. Up-front, I’ll warn you that no matter when they say you can apply the patch (before, during or after) trying to apply the patch after an excessive night of drinking often leads to failure. I’ve watched my cousin fail to put three patches on his skin while applying his “remedy” before bed. The alcohol was impairing his ability to function with enough dexterity to solve his problem–it was funny, but it also didn’t lead to a successful patch installation.
Bytox, a hangover remedy, suggests they have an answer for many of these situations. Their company says:
While I’ve not had a chance to put their words to the test just yet (stay tuned for that), I wanted to get the word out about their product and perhaps see if anyone wants to leave some comments and let us know what they think of Bytox as a remedy to hangovers. I found them available on Amazon for those that want to try them before I get my chance to test them on some of my “lab rats” (translation: friends that party too much).
These types of products do not really fall into the category of stuff I, personally, would purchase because I’ve found excessive drinking is best left to those younger than myself that haven’t learned their lesson yet. However, I’m also fully aware that there are folks out there that would love to function the day after a bachelor party or holiday get-together.
You can read up on Bytox on their website if you’re interested. Once we receive samples and are able to test out the success rate, I’ll let you know!
