The Pegu Club | Classic Orange Curacao & Gin

The Pegu Club cocktail is a classic gin based recipe, a slight twist on a gin sour. This recipe has a tart gin taste profile with a lime bite.

The Pegu Club definitely tastes better before drinking potent amaro based cocktails. It’s a light and sour refreshing drink, but after a few bourbon cocktails it was a bit too light. Mood will have a lot to do with when you want a Pegu Club, even if we do like the Dorchester cocktail better. The pegu club has some neat nuances of grapefruit yet no grapefruit is used to produce the drink.

The Pegu Club
– 2 oz gin
– 3/4 oz orange curaçao
– 1/2 oz lime juice
– 1 dash Angostura bitters
– 1 dash orange bitters
