Tasting Notes: The flavor fits that of a honey and chocolate with a bit of a missing space for the marshmallow presence you typically get from a s’more made for the fire. None-the-less, it’s got nice sweetness with a good texture and, overall, a fun little shooter.
The first cocktail of 2012 is here, even though it was recorded in 2011 (along with next weeks epic shows). We’re excited to start the new year off with a sweet little shooter but cannot wait to see what comes long in ’12 and we’ve got a lot of time to build up some new recipes. Perhaps it’s time to bring out some flavored vodkas? Wait for next week, we’ve got a triple threat week.
Recipe:
- 3/4 oz. Vodka
- 3/4 oz. Godiva
- 3/4 oz. Honey Whiskey

January 1, 2012 at 9:42 pmYou had it. S’mores is a contraction of the phrase “some more”. The first recorded recipe is in an old Girl Scouts recipe book of some sort. Up until the 70s the recipe for S’mores was written as “Some Mores”.

January 3, 2012 at 4:14 pmI believe Pinnacle makes a marshmallow vodka. You should consider trying this again with the flavoring. Sounds yummy!
