Tasting Notes: Green tea herbal quality with green herbs, black licorice and almost an angostura bitter play; herbal attack with a mild soda flavor, nice citrus. While there there is some “herbal bomb” quality, it’s not in your face jagermeister or absinthe flavors but something in between.
A herbal dose of awesome all wrapped up in a cocktail. It is green tea cocktail style! This is our first foray into the world of Chartreuse and I believe it might be a worthy endeavor. The herbal properties are very intriguing and something different for a “fill with Coke” recipe.
Recipe:
- 1 1/2 oz. Chartreuse
- 1 oz. Sour Mix
- Fill with Coke
