Everyday Drinkers Podcast 28: Pilsner Beer

Pilsner beer or “Pils,” a refreshing and approachable beer style. There are a few unique styles of Pilsner and we hit a wide variety of the pils style including: Blue Paddle by New Belgium, Brooklyn Pilsner, Miller, Warsteiner and the original pilsner Pilsner Urquell.

We’ve got a great number of guests on this episode, one of which shows up a bit “tipsy.” However there is a great balance between knowledge and unabashed comedy. If you’re confused on some of the references in the episode, it’s all revealed in the 17+ minutes of outtakes!

You guys are fucking awesome. I think Doug is a Jedi and can just willpower his way through the alcohol when the need arises.

Anyways, for the interview podcasts you should give them a different name then Everyday Drinkers podcast.

Maybe something like drinkers one to one (which I stole from dogwatch cigar radio so maybe don’t use that one but you get the idea,) just to separate it from the regular podcast.

I’d also like to thank Dave for providing so many different witticisms so that I can steal them and use them.

I’d also like to say thank you to Kate for making sure the podcast isn’t a complete sausage-fest.

    Keep on keeping on

Wow, thanks for the comments! I’m struggling for a name for the interviews, I don’t know how many I’ll be able to do and I want to keep them in the same audio stream so folks can pick them up via iTunes and such. If I get more traction I’ll have to do something 🙂 So far I’ve got a few brands knocking down my door for interviews so it’s nice to be wanted!

Check out Toronto’s independent brewer, Steam Whistle Brewing who is unique in North America in brewing only a single beer – Canada’s Premium Pilsner. We have a great brewery tour running 7 days a week or 24/7 virtually.
