How To Make The Tequila Sunrise 🌅 / Easy Tequila Drinks

Today we’ll show you how to make a tequila sunrise, a proper cocktail creation. This is a 3 component cocktail and doesn’t have to be complicated, but it should be done proper.

The Tequila Sunrise Recipe:

Alma de Agave: — get yourself a real bottle of tequila, 100% de agave today!

Real Grenadine:

The tequila sunrise is a classic drink design that was made popular in the 70’s by folks like McJagger and The Eagles. However, the traditional tequila sunrise actually used creme de cassis and a soda water where the more ‘updated’ version (that’s 40 or so years old now) is simple and easy while tasting great.

A nice pool cocktail for those that love a cocktail with a bit more sweetness. Grenadine is a sweetening agent (even real grenadine with pomegranates) so it’s going to have a sweet start and orange juice isn’t no slouch in the sweet department.

If you like a sweet drink, want a simple tequila cocktail this is an easy tequila drink for your next pool party, or tequila celebration.

We’re using alma de agave tequila all month, if you want a great tequila checkout alma for your next tequila party. We used añejo tequila by alma because we love the flavor profile, but you can use a blanco or reposado if that fits your mood better.

Tequila Sunrise
– 1 1/2 oz. Añejo Tequila (or silver, or reposado)
– 4 oz. Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice
– 1/2 oz. Grenadine
