How To Make The Greenpoint Cocktail Recipe / Manhattan Variation

Today we’re going to make the greenpoint cocktail recipe, a manhattan variation utilizing a rye whiskey. This accents the manhattan style with vermouth yet brings chartreuse to really herbalize it up!

The Greenpoint Cocktail:

Our Store:

This recipe is probably more of a modern classic, from Milk & Honey in NYC. The design has some chartreuse mixed with rye and some sweet vermouth but we can’t do it without bitters. This cocktail combines orange and aromatic bitters.

This drink no doubt gets a bit crazy and loud because of our live studio audience; we apologize, but we make Ian speak up and talk about stirring a bit more.

The Greenpoint Cocktail
– 2 oz Rye Whiskey
– 1/2 oz Yellow Chartreuse
– 1/2 oz Sweet Vermouth
– 1 Dash Angostura Bitters
– 1 Dash Orange Bitters

In any case, go make yourself a greenpoint cocktail recipe and tell us what you think! What’s your favorite manhattan variant?
