The ancient mariner is a cocktail is part of the Grog Log by Jeff Berry, it’s a tiki cocktail that fits this great time of year. It brings floral grapefruit juice and lime juice with demerara / molasses notes with that lovely demerara sugar and demerara aged rum.

You can use this tiki drink, the Ancient Mariner, for loves of great times include spring, summer and, if you close your eyes, winter too!

The Ancient Mariner
– 1 oz. Jamaican dark rum
– 1 oz. Demerara aged rum
– ¾ oz. Fresh lime juice
– ½ oz. Fresh grapefruit juice
– ½ oz. Demerara simple syrup
– 1-2 dashes Allspice dram
