Common Man Cocktails

Common Man Cocktails: Our iTunes Syndicated Video Cast

Finally, we’re live on iTunes! Not only do we have an Everyday Drinkers Audio Podcast, we’re now on iTunes for the Common Man Cocktails. Why watch?

When we’re having parties and people come over, each event usually starts out with “make me a drink” or “what do you have to drink?” or “I’m looking for a nice sweet drink, any suggestions?” In these cases, the guests are not looking for a beer or wine – they’re already quite familar with the tastes of red and white wines along with ales, lagers and stouts.

They’re looking for something different. Something fresh, new and homemade. They also know you’re not a bartender and that you’ve got only the liquor around your house to work with.

What do you do?

You start inventing things, pulling out recipe books and exploring the options. The problem is, many of the recipes are intimidating or call for ingredients you’ve never seen or heard of before. That’s where Everyday Drinkers: Common Man Cocktails Show will arrive to fill your empty void of drinking hopes and desires.

Each week we’re going to bring you a new recipe, some will be basic, some will be variants of other recipes and some will be completely wild and new. For those that have been following our episodes already, you’ve seen the Red Mai Tai, Chocolate Martini’s and our latest episode on the Perfect Margarita. By the end of this week you’ll have gotten a chance to see the Mojito using 10 Cane Rum, Stirrings Simple Mojito Mix along with a secondary Mango Mojito using Rose’s.

What next? Perhaps a Stoned Sour, Scorpion or Zombie. Who knows, the bar books are filled with thousands of great recipes, bartenders give a few personal ones out and the manufacturers love to send us recipes so, in essence, the world is our oyster.

If you want to stay tuned to find out what’s next, subscribe to us in iTunes! We’ll post them here at EverydayDrinkers as well. Or stick on our RSS feed with your favorite syndicators.
