Smith & Cross Jamaican: Old Bottle vs. Brand New – Does it go bad?

Does rum go bad? Specifically a flavorful Jamaican rum that has been sitting in my house for like 10 years. Lets taste test it vs. a brand new bottle and figure out which is best.

This happens to be a bottle of Smith & Cross Traditional Jamaican Rum. We’ve got a chance to be able to taste test side-by-side now that we got a new bottle, so let’s give this rum a taste.
