Today we make the Snowshoe Grog, a peppermint bourbon drink. We do it twice, once with Rumple Minze and once with a standard Peppermint schnapps, and taste the difference.
The snowshoe grog is a winter cocktail that’s super easy to make, but may be a bit too much for some folks. You’ll want to be a huge fan of cocktails with peppermint and maybe you may even like bourbon or other whiskey.
The Peppermint Schnapps does allow some of the bourbon to shine through, where Rumple Minze (at a high proof too) dominates.
Snowshoe Grog
– 2 oz Bourbon
– 1/2 oz Peppermint Schnapps
