Today we look forward to New Years Eve and line up a few cocktails that might be worth utilizing for New Years Eve. This cocktail brings something wintery to the mix in the form of a “nog” perhaps, utilizing a full egg in the cocktail creation.
We also learn that you can use the egg shell to remove portions of egg shell that may drop into your cocktail. This is a simple yet creative and great cocktail to build for the colder holiday evenings here in the northern hemisphere.
A great use of a cherry, a nice smooth consistent cocktail that has a good balance, a slightly dry finish and doesn’t get too sweet or sour. It has a nice starting sweet that ends dry but isn’t over-the-edge.

1 1/2 oz. Apricot Brandy, 1 oz. Sweet Vermouth, 1 oz. Lemon Juice, 1 large egg, 3 dashes orange bitters, 1 cherry, 1 fresh apricot slice (if you can get them!)
