The Maple Old Fashioned, New Years Day

The Maple Old Fashioned, a cocktail for after new years eve because we said so. This drink has a bit of a sour bite to it even without any real sour component, the tart may come straight from the angostura bitters.

The maple rounds it out, gives it an approachable flavor while also bringing the flavors of rum. Not quite a whiskey drink this time, but if you’re a rum drinker the maple old fashioned is a pairing for your tongue parts you may really enjoy.
