Saint Valentine with Starboard Port

We found another cocktail recipe to use our bottle of port we had opened, and Saint Valentine looked interesting. We pulled this from portcocktails.com.

Has a lime-driving force of a daiquiri, but it’s not as sour and without the same level of acidity. Ian doesn’t get the daiquiri but he does find some reference in some other cocktail flavor profile.

However, this cocktail does shine as a port based cocktail and that’s a fantastic thing! It’s amazing how port and grand marnier changes things up from just a basic daiquiri flavor.
