Tasting Notes: Feels very classic in taste and presentation. Hints of amaretto with an almond-like oak and very nice smooth pineapple. The pineapple really stands out in both flavor, foam and texture.
A great new years cocktail for 2012, while the recipe seems like it would fit the tropical theme, it really brings the class and style of an aged recipe that was found in the closet tucked away in the times of prohibition recently discovered. But no, it’s a real simple recipe with accessible ingredients that kicks up the class. What more can you ask for this year?
