Today I wanted to do a Maker’s 46 Bourbon Whiskey Review because I thought it would be fun. This is a higher proof Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey finished in oak staves.

Marker’s 46 brings something I love to the table: burn oak flavor in my bourbon. Maker’s 46 Whiskey isn’t just a bright white oak flavor, the deep rich flavor of char comes through, giving you toffee notes, coffee notes, and sweet candy caramel notes.
However, unlike the sweetness in Maker’s Mark’s original product, Maker’s 46 isn’t as sweet, probably because of the additional char combined with the additional proof.
