The Winter Daiquiri brings in the citrus we often see arrive at the local grocery store: clementine. What we did find is that clementine is a very subtle juice when it comes to building out cocktails and there are only slight finishings of citrus nuance within the Winter Daiquiri.
By far not are favorite drink, it is a potent number, making it a “winter warmer” of sorts for those colder nights. However, the Winter Daiquiri didn’t bring too much character to the table outside of the flavor of your choice of rum.
We say up the maple syrup a bit to give it a more maple appeal or maybe add more clementine juice to balance it out a bit more. In either case, if you’re looking for a traditional daiquiri with a winter twist, maybe this fall/winter seasonal cocktail recipe will do you good.
