We are finding a use for the maraschino cherry juice from the bottle of cherries with this simple cherry popping flavor explosion. The recipe: 1/2 oz. Maraschino Cherry Juice, 1 Maraschino Cherry, Top with Peppermint Schnapps.

The peppermint isn’t too overbearing because of the concentrated degree of the syrup. Good shooter overall. As for the drink name question, honestly, I feel like it should be named something that can be chanted and enjoyed without seeming like you need your mouth washed out with soap. As a fellow drink connoisseur, I can appreciate genuine, fun, and accurate names of cocktails and shooters. Cheers!

Having shots is not a serious thing so I think you can give dirty names to your recipes, unless you are at a luxury hotel bar.

Qotd: I’m a of both minds on the naming of drinks. I do think the needlessly vulgar name thing can be overdone but I have no compuction about saying the dirty name either and if that’s what it tastes like so be it. But I could see where it’s something you might want to be careful about.
