Tasting Notes: A tongue numbing heat that brings coconut and cassis right up front and the irish cream is buried in the mid-palate. A milky chocolate finish with a bit more cassis and coconut all with a yogurt-like texture and a bit of burn in the throat.
This oddly does bring a great yogurt texture that thickens when the cassis meets the irish cream. The Coole Swan Irish Cream that we used may bring a bit of a chocolate hint near the finish but all-in-all the coconut yogurt play is very cool and unique for a cocktail. It looks like yogurt too!
Recipe:
- 1 oz. Creme de Cassis
- 1 oz. Irish Cream
- 1/2 oz. Coconut Rum
- 1/2 oz. Gold Rum
