Honeydew Ginger Martini | St. Patrick’s Day

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, today we’re making a green drink: The Honeydew Ginger Martini. A stiff drink for a drinking holiday that has a piss green color.

We try to fix the color a bit utilizing some Blue Curacao to build a bit more of a Midori green shade of color to the cocktail and it works pretty easily. However, even adding a bit of the citrus flavor and color doesn’t really correct this from being a plain ol’ stiff cocktail. Could use a bit more balance away from the potent alcohol, but it is what it is!

Although it might be a bit strong, there is potential in this cocktail if you want to re-balance it a bit more, perhaps more Midori flavor.
