Today we talk about the history of amaro, or amari (multiple amaro). This herbal elixar existed for your health, and it’s still drank today around the world (but not so much for health).
Europe (especially Italy) was the home to amaro for far longer than it was available in the United States. This bitter liqueur is meant to be sipped, unliked a cocktail bitter which is meant to be added as a concentrated flavor to a cocktail.
