Tasting Notes: Minty hot chocolate flavor profile. Stir it if you want more mint up-front on the first few sips, otherwise, it will get a bit more irish-creamy as you sip.
There is nothing super surprising about this cocktail in terms of flavor, you get exactly what the ingredients call for with the mint and chocolate in a hot beverage. However, that doesn’t discount for its super holiday-like flavors, great for warming up after a day of sledding or shoveling the driveway. Also makes a good cocktail for dessert.
Oh, did we mention Jennifer makes a holiday guest appearance!?

December 22, 2011 at 4:22 amI like flavored Irish Creams. I have the mint and caramel baileys at home and I have every intention of picking up the coffee and hazelnut flavored baileys at the Seattle airport duty free store next time I head up to Seattle (would have done it this month, but my flight out was too early and they weren’t open. It was very sad). I do have the original Baileys too though. Really I think they all have their place and go good with different things or say in different cocktails.

December 24, 2011 at 5:22 amI prefer the versatility of the standard flavor of the Irish creme, but i Love to cook i love mixing drinks, so if i need a chocolate mint, caramel, etc flavor for the creme, i would take the time mix it the mint extract with the chocolate, etc to the creme. Thats my opinion for a home and restaurant.
