Tasting Notes: Lillet rouge and dry vermouth make this a very fortified “wine” like cocktail yet you get a dark european chocolate present in the mid-palate that’s fairly muted but present. Without the chocolate bitters, this drink would be a bit too boring even with a hint of citrus essence. Light dark chocolate finish.
The Perfect cocktail, a drink with chocolate bitters–we have not used the chocolate bitters yet so it is time to get down to business. This is a classic design with a muted chocolate spin. Also, checkout firewater bitters if you want to experience the heat that Ian tried.
