Tasting Notes: Most skittle flavors bring some type of spirit relationship; yellow brings me to lemonchello, green to some margarita-like flavors, but then there is red…. red tastes like a red skittle but that’s really all I could come up with for red!

July 29, 2012 at 2:17 pmWhy not adding a few drops of blue food coloring in the “purple” vodka, to make it really purple ?

July 29, 2012 at 5:18 pmI would feel I cheated the infusion if I artificially color it. It’s “homemade” so I sorta am okay with things being more “natural” in how their colors come out. If I were marketing it, I’d probably find a better way 🙂

August 1, 2012 at 5:25 amYeah, I was thinking about your homemade melon liquor, when you used coloring to make it looking like Midori. Anyway, Skittles vodka looks amazing of a shelf.

August 1, 2012 at 3:48 pmNo, not yet. I’ve only had it for two weeks, that’s like a blink of the eye to me as I’m usually super busy. Eventually we’ll find a place for it to go 🙂
