The Long Island Iced Tea, broken down into two categories, the one you get at a bar (ingredients off the rail / well liquor) and a craft version utilizing premium ingredients.
You’ll see we opted for Q Kola for our craft version and standard American Coca-Cola for the standard version. First time using Jose Cuervo Gold in a cocktail on the show, while using a premium tequila that’s 100% de agave (Partida) for the high end version. We use an organic vodka (ocean vodka) for our premium and a plastic bottle of vodka for the standard well version. You may use Absolute, Stoli, Smirnoff or equivalent as your “well vodka.” For gin you may use Tanqueray or Beefeater as your well gin and we’ll use Hendrick’s for the premium Long Island Iced Tea variant. Rum is typically going to be bacardi because it is everywhere, and we’ll use Plantation 3-star for our high end product line although it’s not really that expensive.
Now, go forth and build one (or both) of these Long Island Iced Tea cocktails and tell us which you love better. Do it. Now. Or later. Or just watch.
