The Moscow Mule is a fairly classic drink with a great historic tale that may or may not be 100% truth. The Moscow Mule recipe dates back to when vodka became a trendy thing and a man was looking to push his vodka brand while a team was trying to offload some copper mugs while another guy was trying to ship his ginger beer. Sound like a fairy tale? Maybe, but these people really existed and have historic significance to the Moscow Mule.
While we can’t say for sure who’s Moscow Mule tale is truth, we can say that the traditional Moscow Mule recipe doesn’t change too much from drink to drink. You’ll have the same components with just minor variations to Moscow Mule recipe ratios for those spirits.
The Moscow Mule
1.5 oz. vodka, 1/4 oz fresh lime juice, 4 oz ginger beer
Use your favorite ginger beer for your moscow mule, we prefer the hot and spicy ginger beers. Use just enough fresh lime juice to be exactly what you want, for us it’s just a quarter ounce.
Go, make yourself a moscow mule cocktail recipe and enjoy your easy vodka drinks. We do!
