How To Make The Hanky Panky Cocktail

The Hanky Panky is a gin-based cocktail that could almost pass as a sweet gin martini if it wasn’t for the use of Fernet-Branca which changes this drink into something entirely different.

Instead of just a martini, the vermouth contains to play a central focus and adds some level of sweetness to the juniper by the finish is bright with eucalyptus notes which lingers for a bit and ends with a slight bitterness.

The bitterness in the Hanky Panky stays subtle so those that don’t care for bitter cocktails or amaro’s will still find this an acceptable delight.
