Tasting Notes: Red bull together with a hint of black licorice and mild sour mix. Lots of citrus synergy coming from the sour mix and red bull combination; makes the carbonated citrus flavors more natural but also not extremely in-you-face in flavor.
The purpose of red bull, to us, is more of a utility: to stay awake. However, when put together in this recipe it makes the flavor of red bull even better than what it tastes like stand-alone. A little bit more of a light and refreshing profile compared to a simple red bull and jäger combination.
Recipe:
- 3/4 oz. Jagermeister
- 4 oz. Red Bull
- 1/2 oz. Vodka
- 1 oz. Sour Mix

April 29, 2012 at 6:49 pmJust wanted to say I use Red Bull in drop shots. Also the vodka you used, Ciroc is pronounced, Sir ock.

April 30, 2012 at 12:00 amWell it sounded like an interesting drink but I am not a fan of red bull or jaiger. It seems like you enjoyed though so I might enjoy and I’ll try any drink once.
Qotd: Again, I covered this previously but I do not like red bull at all. If I need an energy boost I do soda, coffee or tee. Energy drinks in general just don’t taste good to me at all and I can drink something else if I really need caffeine.
