Tasting Notes: Very up-front coconut right in your face with mild hazelnut with a secondary coconut finish. A light sweet coconut experience rounded out with hazelnut.
A martini with coconut and hazelnut, two nuts that will really get you going. We’ll be kicking it up with some chocolate shavings as well. Today we are highlighting Pinnacle’s Coconut Vodka and the flavor of coconut is all over this recipe even brings a bit of sweet.
Question of the day: what brand has the best recipes listed on their website or offer the coolest recipes?

April 20, 2012 at 11:48 pmShort and sweet is see. :p I’ve never thought of infusing the flavors into plain liquor. You’ll have to forgive me on my lack of knowledge because mixed drinks have only been a side hobby to wine and beer so far in my drinking experience. I’ll have to try that because I’m poor right now and don’t have the money for an extensive collection of spirits.
Qotd: I honestly haven’t tried any of the recommended recipes because the reason mentioned above and my preference to experiment on my own. I personal feel that I learn more by making my own mistakes and referencing outside sources for my inspiration. I’ll follow the comments thought to see if I am wrong in my personal opinion. 🙂

April 21, 2012 at 12:07 amYeah, here is how we made our coconut rum: https://commonmancocktails.com/2011/07/14/how-to-make-homemade-coconut-rum/
If you find yourself with some cash to infuse your own, you may find it both fun and tasty 🙂

April 21, 2012 at 12:43 amCQOTD: Bacardi and Jagermeister have lots of recipes. I`m not usually checking for recipes on the spirits websites, but if there`s a drink that i really like i`m checking their website for a bit of info about the drink, like what it contains, a bit of history and the most important recipes.
