How To Make The Blood Orange Zinger

Tasting Notes: Citrus and spicy heat, bright ginger that is very pronounced. Not too sweet and not too sour, but brings some good acidity to the table. Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur does not highlight the drink as we thought it might.

Bringing Blood Orange to cocktails right this minute. Time to make a cocktail with Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur. Of course, this video covers the product we reviewed earlier today called Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur so don’t forget to watch that video too. The problem with this cocktail is the tasty zing of ginger distracts from any true blood orange flavor profile.

As far as the Blood Orange Zinger drink, it’s best to use Blood Orange Juice (or Freshly Squeezed Blood Oranges that most supermarkets now carry) for the simple fact that blood orange naturally has less acid and more sweetness that regular oranges. plus it’ll make the blood orange liquor more pronounced. Try that version and you’ll taste a big difference.
