The Gin Sling is a reflection of a time when alcohol was much more rough and tumble than it is today. First recorded definition of a Sling was from “History of New Sweden”, published in 1759, as translated from Swedish into English: “Long-sup or sling was one half water and one half rum with sugar in it to taste.”
Today, we re-create the gin sling as it used to be and providing tasting notes on something that you probably would not find non a bar menu today.
