Today we side step to another beer review, this time we take a look at Flying Dog’s “Heat Series” offering in the Chipotle Ale and also take a closer look at Mango Habanero.
Of course, neither of these seem like a beer person’s style of drinks until you put them in your mouth. This spicy beer has just enough spice and the mango side has just enough mango. The Chipotle Ale? Smokey, like a traditional rauchbier.
Rauchbier, or “Smokey Beer”, is a great experiment for a beer style and, while it does require something to get used to, those that can find love in a nice earthy smoke are probably going to be sipping on this Chipotle Ale during their next BBQ.
