Today we review Blue Ice, a product that retails for around $15.99 and Derrick predicts would be worth mid-twenty dollar range, which shows a bit about what he believes in the taste for Blue Ice vodka.
Like we say in the video, we don’t make it our job to review vodka products but vodka is on the rise right now, everybody is creating a vodka brand either because they want to ride the wave or they have a gin or other flavored spirit and putting out a vodka is just a natural progression for their brand.
Given neutral spirit is used for making new gins, it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility to sell that neutral spirit as a vodka as well.
So, if you’re looking for us to review a vodka and you’re not a brand sending us the product to review, you probably won’t see us doing it–there is just so many product out there that reviewing them all is just a time consuming way of saying, “it kinda tastes like vodka.”
Blue Ice definitely has a hint of sweetness and is smooth and easy to consume and, at the cost, a worthy vodka to use in your cocktails.
