The Blue Hawaii is a cocktail designed in 1957 by Harry Yee, a native Hawaiian that died at 104 years old. He was a famous bartender that was part of the original tiki culture and worked to promote these great cocktails to their patrons and tourists.

The Blue Hawaii
3/4 oz Vodka
3/4 oz Light Rum
1 oz Blue Curacao
3 oz Pineapple Juice
1 oz Sour Mix

The flavor profile ends up being pineapple driven, as you’d expect, but with some nice orange citrus center and a light sour bite at the end. Easy, refreshing and fun. Great for pool parties or blended.

Sour Mix Ratio:
1 parts of Lemon
1 parts of Lime
2 parts of Simple Syrup

Of course, there is no other spirits that drive through on flavor because puerto rican rum is pretty light on flavor, vodka has no flavor, and the rest is basically citrus, sweets, and juices.
